Some of it could be that ‘Day’ is the one I saw on release and on video repeatedly. It nails the sfx in a way still hard to top even today and the bleakness as well as the flashes of fun and the score just make it uno for me.
I love ‘Dawn’ but I want that story told with the sfx expertise of ‘Day’
