Here's 4 of the 14 species of Hummingbird I saw while in Costa Rica a couple of weeks ago. There are a total of 53 species of Hummingbird recorded in Costa Rica so 14 is just over a quarter of this wonderful family group of birds. Species names with each image.

Just starting to work on my Hotel Quelitales bird photos taken during my day in mid March with Rancho Naturalista guide Mercedes when we saw a tiny Dusky Rice Rat feeding alongside a White Naped Brush Finch as the day there started. 2 lifers in one shot! #brilliant #costaricanbirds
