Claude, and programs like it, may take jobs away. But they are also creating jobs. This always happens with technology.

It allows me, a non-programmer, the ability to create complex apps. But I still have to spend hours, days, or weeks carefully designing, thinking and constructing a thing. You can't just press a button and then it fulfills your imagination. It takes work. But it's a different kind of work.

A comment about AI programming (claude): there are so many naysayers that feel we're on the verge on some sort of AI apocalypse--that it will take over the world. My POV: Claude is an awesome tool, but it's not creative. I have to carefully guide it through multiple iterations.
