Shame about the Pelova news but the writing had been on the wall for a good while. We can't wait forever for these players to recover/realise their potential, not if we want to get our hands on a league title anyway.

I have the memory of a goldfish, you've already told me this. Hope the recovery is going okay so far and hope a couple good results can give you the positive vibes that always helps!
you going to the CL semi-final? got club level for that but having to give up my Leicester ticket few days later
The inner satisfaction when I hear stuff like 'Russo would have scored that' when one of the lads messes up a finish or 'get Renee to give the team talk'.
I do the same. Some of the guys who I play five a side with, few years back would have completely scoffed at the idea of going to a womens match. Nowadays they send me gifs of Russo doing skills! Managed to get one to get a season ticket with me this year! Times are a changin'
Yep. Thats the only thing left to do. Catch the artists in smaller shows before they get any kind of relative success. Used to do a fair bit of that, but at that st/age now where keeping up with new up and coming artists and bands is genuinely hard work!
Combination of covid, Spotify's model and just unfettered capitalism has ripped the soul out of it all. We've seen it happen with live football as well
Noticed that a whole section of people, mainly fairly well off, go to these shows just so they can be seen to be at the show on the social platforms. Similar with live sport. Very little vested interest beyond wanting to be at the 'place to be'. Rips the soul of it all
I went to uni with that whopper of a bloke. Let me just say absolutely nothing he has done since has surprised me.
Yeah the whole thing has flipped on it's head. I'd go to 2 or 3 gigs a month in the 2010s for about £30 or £40 a go. The very biggest bands would maybe go up to £65. £120 would get you into a 3-day festival. Gigs now just a past time for people with lots of money or freebies for the connected
Cheapest ticket to watch Strokes in UK is £120 before fees. Cheapest ticket in **reads hand** Newcastle is £170. Both just standard arena shows. Everything is just fucked beyond belief.
Hope you enjoyed your trip, sorry we couldn't give you and your boy a better show!
Is that Mauro Ranallo on the boxing comms on Netflix? NXT black and gold era and I wanna run to youuu
Spent the train ride home from the ground making a list of things to do this weekend which don't involve anything to do with football - absolutely refuse to watch City tomo hoping Chelsea help us, just feels so pathetic at this point
Might try the boxing instead, seeing someone get punched into the nether realm might help me feel something
Struggling to even enjoy the Masters here because of those 11 millionaire mfs and that one other mf with perfect hair
Bring your dinner? How about Arsenal bring a decent performance?
That was dreadful from start to finish. Zero redeeming features to that performance.
A chance to exert our title credentials and we play like that 😑
Not just bad in isolation either, it adds to ongoing worries about our form.
Absolutely in the mud on this journey home. That Everton win feels like a lifetime ago. Someone tell me it’s gonna be okay 😞
This team is gonna fucking kill me man
Have managed to secure tickets for West Ham away.... in the home end. Will either be a truly glorious (undercover) day or potentially the most miserable experience ever experienced. Gulp.
First leg of the UWCL semi-final between Arsenal and Lyon confirmed for Emirates Stadium on Sunday 26 April. 1530 KO.
Absolute brass neck of publishing this less than a day after disability benefit cuts come into force, pushing an estimated 400,000 people into poverty

Don't pretend we can't see what you're doing here, Stella
Farewell sweet prince. We'll always have the first half of 13/14 and those days at Wembley x
Said this for a good minute. He’s just an impact sub against a high line with super defensive work rate. He does not win you matches
Special anniversary kit. Colours they wore when they won the cup 50 years ago
I don’t think I can do any more ‘hoping’ around Gabriel Jesus anymore.
Enzo Fernandez has received harsher punishment for saying he’d hypothetically like to live in Madrid one day than he did for singing a racist song that prompted several of his teammates to publicly condemn him
Kier Starmers Neo Con government is happy for us to drink shit and nobody is being held to account - voting Green isn’t a ‘nice to have ‘ - it’s necessary just for our survival
Last time I covered them live, around 2013 in a Friday night FA Cup tie, I was in the stands with my laptop because of press box overspill and someone legitly passed on a joint to me. Not all bad eggs!
