I gave her flowers
Wrote a card
She took out my stitches
I poured the wine
We laughed
Happy anniversary

My theatre teacher taught me how to function in a neurotypical world. My mom taught me that it's okay to let go of wrong beliefs. My wife taught me to listen and learn from my emotions.
After eating at Five Guys isn't as bad a time as after paying at Five Guys.
As soon as they upload their recording, it auto-generates a "pay actor" task on the to-do board, with a 1 click pay option. Once paid, that automatically loads as paid in the Expense tracker. All without any big data companies touching your stuff.
Yesterday I released an app feature I'm super proud of. If a character with lines has an actor assigned, a "record lines" task is auto-generated. Add a due date and it auto-emails the script to the actor with directions and a link to upload their audio. Auto-email reminder 1 day before due date.
Chapter 2 Is Recorded!
If you haven't caught up, now's the best time to do so!

Blue stripes in a gradation of dark blue to light blue appear on a white background. In the upper right-hand corner, some of these stripes trail out from the left side of a blue star. The words "Intrepid Web Fest" appear in black lettering over the blue stripes at the top of the image. Icymi earlier,

Thanks to beta tester votes, my audiodrama scriptwriting app is integrated w/ Freesound.org and Incompetech.com. You can also adjust spacing between letters, lines, and words to improve readability, and you can pin the line you're currently writing if you need to scroll around while you write.
Hey, thanks for this app's first official financial supporter!
ko-fi.com/home/coffees...
Features on my (soon-ish) todo list:
- Global script/notes/outline search with filters for show and season
- Contact management for cast and crew
- Import/export files in standard screenplay format (+FDX/Fountain/Fadein)
- Schedule manager
- Production management
- Show Bible
- Body doubling
- More!
Only a dozen people have even seen it, so here's a teaser from a current beta tester: "I already love this program! It's much easier to use than any script editor I've tried before, and the format is so good of audio fiction - pretty similar to what I've done before (and in many ways better)."
As I'm looking into various features to add to my Cool AF Scripter app for creating audiodrama from development to release (minus a DAW...I'm not making a DAW lol), I realize that I can do some things much better with money. So. Here's a goal, I guess: ko-fi.com/horrificnath...
Done! Thanks for letting me know!
Of course! Gimme their @'s and I'll add them!
Finally threw together a visual voice reel! It's time to start auditioning for video game roles in earnest, hmu #IndieGameDev

What are some lesser known sound effect libraries, do you think? And what music libraries do you use?
Bonus points for free, royalty-free, and/or AI-free (or at least clearly marked AI vs Human).

Screenshot of a scriptwriting app. A Sound line with the text "It's raining softly."
A Sound Files search through Freesound.org integrated into the screenwriting app. The search is for bacon sizzling, with options to play the file or add a link to the file to the script Sound Files.
Ever have trouble as a writer communicating with your sound designer what something should sound like in your head? Or maybe it just helps you to hear it for later. Add reference audio from freesound.org directly into your script without leaving the script itself.
I have many more features planned and am taking suggestions and feedback! If you'd like to support development, here's my ko-fi: ko-fi.com/horrificnathan
* Automatic formatting of Scene lines, Sound lines, Action lines, parentheticals, and any character names in Action lines.
* Just added: a font toggle. By default everything is Courier. Now it can switch to Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a font designed by the Braille Institute.

* Character autocomplete
* Name generator
* Scene navigator
* Collapsible scenes
* Undo/redo
* Day/night/sepia theme toggle
* Save links to audio files for sound lines for later reference
* Automatic line numbering
* Realtime collab (think Google Docs) with both other registered users or unregistered users
* Core app is mobile friendly
* In app Wikipedia search, Dictionary lookup, and Thesaurus lookup, the latter with single click word swap
* Find and replace
* Multi select by lines for deletion or word count
* Basic notes by line
* Basic outlining
* Total/spoken word counts
* Character/script data breakdowns
* Cost calculator
* Runtime estimate
* Save Dead Darlings for later
* Scripts organized automatically by show
* PDF and TXT export, the former with automatic character highlighting
Some peeps know I needed cognitive exercises after events in Dec. I turned a lot of attention to an app I'd been working on for over a year for Audio Fiction Scriptwriting. It's now in beta. Current working feature list, no particular order:
*Easy writing without having to think about formatting
Lotsa peeps reached out about various stuff so it's only fair to share 1 of the bigger reasons I'm a lot slower with most things lately. Meds I'm on are impacting my memory so I've been losing things, forgetting about meetings and work that's due, etc. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. But that's why.

My offbeat confession: I like to eat popcorn because I can pretend I'm a lizard shooting my tongue out and nabbing the popcorn.
Have you tried doing 50 hour days 7 days/week? Really makes it easier to listen to more AD.
