If you want to see some snow this November, Astana is a place to go. The capital of Kazakhstan is a beautiful and modern city, albeit very cold. It was -12C when I visited, with lots of snow laying around. In Astana, you'll find many futuristic buildings similar to the one in the picture.
Bukhara, Uzbekistan, is an ancient city which strikes the visitors by its beautiful architecture and relaxed atmosphere. The visions of the illuminated Poi Kalyan Square with its incredible mosque and infinitely high minaret under the night sky will be staying in your mind forever.
