I wished the Rhode Island government spent more money on the arts and culture and built and helped fund the construction of new arts facilities and museums. I feel like it's a good bet from an economic standpoint with the ability to retain RISD alum from moving away and from a tourism standpoint

This is what you get when you underfund public transit and build a transit system around mostly funneling people to and from downtown, forgetting that that's not always the fastest and most efficient way to get from one side of the city to the other

To get to Mr. Greek's Pizza & Grill on Branch Ave in Providence from my house it takes 9 minutes by car, 50 minutes by public transit, and 40 minutes on foot. There should not be a world where walking is faster than public transit let alone driving being the fastest mode by a huge margin

Hot take: RIDOT should've demolished 6/10 and built a light rail system in it's place, demolished the current i95 alignment and rerouted i95 to i295(basically a rename), instead of moving the trains out of union station. It's a pain that the buses and the trains aren't in the same spot anymore
