Can't tell whether I'm at that stage of life where new things often seem outlandish or whether it is actually bizarre that a significant new public policy concern is safeguards on artificial intelligence being thwarted by "adversarial poetry".

Video games are an interesting #epherma area for #ac library collection.

Beyond platforms becoming obsolete & dysfunctional w/o server-side maintenance, a lot of current platforms for purchasing games just don't offer a legal option for library ownership and/or preservation.

The problem isn't that we lack evidence. It's is that we've yet to develop the political will to do anything re: radicalization. Politicians benefit from the virality of outrage. Platforms profit from the engagement spikes that anger, fear, & conspiracy generate. So we muddle along while Rome burns.

Why is this the priority when there are so many actual problems for the government to solve?

In our audio-game 𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, we put a large effort in recognizing surface types (grass, bushes, rivers) from sound.

With the help of @rainlefever.bsky.social, our main character Liora now narrates the surface that she walks on!
