Completed ActRaiser over the weekend. Man - that final battle was rough to get through considering I had to go through all of the previous final bosses. But I did it and I feel great for completing it. 😊

OK. I reached the final battle in ActRaiser and it's kicking my butt.

I never knew a side scrolling platformer RPG with SimCity-lite elements was what I needed in my life, but here we are.

For this evening's pre-dinner gaming session, I'm going retro and jumping back into ActRaiser. I never played it growing up and after spending 30 minutes with it the other day, I'm upset at my younger self for not trying it out earlier.

I recommend checking out The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge. I played it recently and it *SCREAMS* God of War in terms of its gameplay mechanics.

Yes! I'm doing much better now. Although my thumbs took a beating playing Grapple Dog. I'm still in awe at how tight of a platformer it is.
