I think what bugs me the most is the fact I was pretty talkative growing up.

What got me into my shell was just little social flubs I made in the past that I beat myself over, social isolation, and negative self-talk.

Not in a depressing kind of way mind you but more like "I'm better off just sticking to my comfort corner and lurk".

For sure. I've been reminding myself of that and that's been pretty helpful.

What I mean is that I'm pretty isolationist despite wanting to connect with people and yap about things. Sometimes "I get in my head" that I have nothing to share or that people don't want me.
