First attempt using Terra Sig on a request for a tapered mug. I’m happy with the results but I definitely have some learning to do. Looking forward to exploring this more!

I’ve said this before but on the heels of yesterday’s economic blackout, I feel the need to reiterate.

A one day blackout or multiday boycott is probably not enough to make change happen. They know the money will still be sent in days before or after.

Slab built pitcher done a while back. I love how the color combo of the yellow and blue against the red clay. I’ve been wanting to make a dinnerware set and I might revisit this design as a jumping off point. What do you think? ~Lance

If 2024 YR4 requires our attention, it deserves a better name. I’m proposing Krishna. Named for a god of compassion because whether it hits us or not, it seems like it’ll be compassionate.

Buying food is not an exception. These people are starving.
Staying comfortable is not an exception, Palestinians don’t have homes.

Don’t consume unless someone’s life depends on it because so many people’s lives may depend on you not consuming right now.

Also just a reminder that the Global Strike for Gaza is still going on. I know that not working isn’t an option for everyone but not spending is participating. That means don’t buy anything at all. Don’t pay your bills. Be willing to be punished and inconvenienced for the Palestinians.

So put that cherry on top of the general state of the world and rage filled screaming is what you get.

None of this is new or surprising and not having insurance would obviously resulted in us losing a lot more, but directly looking at how you are obligated to pay for a corporation to profit while you lose out is absolutely infuriating.

Then they sell the car at auction. So they make money. They also profited from the cost of the insurance and the interest over the past year.

They then say that she needs to continue paying for her insurance and cover the deductable, generating more profit.

So at this point, she has paid for 1 years worth of insurance plus interest on the loan.

The payout for the total is in line with most estimates of the cars value. Seems fair right?

Of course, the insurance company/lender pays themselves off first. No loss for them.
