When the bastions UA first came out I thought they seemed really exciting. After reading their entry in the 2024 DMG it almost feels like they took a step back and ended up being fairly bland.
So I went ahead and picked up a copy of the 3e Stronghold Builders Guidebook to hopefully convert to 5.5.
