I was almost disappointed the scammer had confused Davi's gender, but all signs point this is a sapphic book. The AI is better able to discern summaries in both languages but the scammers can't become contiguously convincing they actually read pitched books. Books sounds cool, btw.
I am so glad I nabbed the very last available movie ticket to see it in the big screen a few months ago. Still sad they didn’t give away conmemorative postcards. I love collecting them but it seems like distributors either don't offer any or too few and they run out. 🥲

Canadian authors, if you aren't eligible for the US Anthropic lawsuit bc you didn't register US copyright, we have our own class action suit! It doesn't rely on registering copyright and you're included in the class by default 🇨🇦

@alexarch.bsky.social you might be interested in this.
That's real cool!
The weather might suck, but I hope you visit that bakery in Picton. They sell great pastries. 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Lots of websites are geolocked. I can't open hulu or peacock. Some book publishing websites like Ingram don't allow me to publish ebooks with them. I believe I am geolocked from libby. My country doesn't have any national online library equivalent.
Tom Mock said the same thing. It might become one of those stories book clubs will spend hours discussing its many angles.
I almost don't listen to English language audiobooks, it's just difficult for me to tag along because of the language's prosody. @cblansdell.bsky.social debut is also in audiobook format and sounds nice.

Putting out an a list of books for Autism Acceptance month for @blog.readindiefantasy.com (yes I know I'm late lol) if you're an autistic indie or self-pubbed author with a SFF book, link it here and I'll try to include it!
Don't underestimate Anduvio because of his gaudy jester costumes. He is seemingly close to immortal with insane speed and close combat skills.
Tioja thought the bloke was pathetic and their 2 battles gave Savior on the zenith much-needed comic relief.
We are now presenting the first of the 12 authors of this upcoming anthology!
The indomitable Kira comes first with a touching story about twin siblings escaping their toxic society.

Cover for Togther is a Distant Star, A sci-fi and fantasy anthology on Belonging The cover shows two hands, each with half a star, as they reach toward each other to piece it together. The background is many warm colors, orange and reds and purples, lovingly created by Coe (C.B. Lansdell), and has elements of skulls, a tree, clouds, a dragonfly, stars, and a pendant
Coming May 19th! A scifi/fantasy anthology featuring 11 authors from 6 continents (we were, unfortunately, unable to find either an Antarctic researcher or a penguin to join us)
Together is a Distant Star contains stories of "belonging" mostly by women, queer, and otherwise marginalized authors.
A fun butterfly effect in Savior on the zenith was that Tioja's asshole uncle was forced to marry women he didn’t care about which pisses him off. This causes an important plot event.
This week's #blog is about Together is a Distant Star, a short story collection I've contributed to. There's also a little bit about my story in the post too.

We know in Fragmented Fates, Jarahad disliked some of the more unsavory aspects of harlequin society, which made his great-grandfather shun him.
In the sequel, we learn political marriage is their social norm and less trusted nobledemons are forced to wear magical fidelity bracelets.
Cover reveal! How far would you go to find where you belong. In the middle is the cover for Together is a Distant Star, a scif-fi & fantasy anthology on belonging. It's beautiful shadws of orange, purple, yellow and pink and has elements like two hands each with 1 half of a star reaching for each other, stars in a dark sky, and other elements for each of the stories. The background is part of the back cover darkened.
It's finally the day to show off our cover for Together is a Distant Star. Isn't she beautiful?
Coming May 19th ^_^

I loved reading Sense and sensitivity. I have a collection of Austen short stories lying in a drawer that I bought for like 2 USD and only read 2 pages. Not a good read on a bus that makes me dizzy.
I gave Fahrenheit 451 a scathing 2 star review. In the book's defense, I read a terrible Spanish translation edition. I might tolerate it more in English.
I have never read books by GRRM, Stephen King or Ursula Le Guin.
It was such a pleasure to be a member of this upcoming anthology. There's a huge variety of stories included within ranging from cozy to grim, fantastical water worlds to stopping planetary terrorists. The paperback edition will include amazing artwork as well!
Thank you for your kind help Steve! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I was honoured to be asked to help with the cover reveal for the upcoming indie anthology, Together Is a Distant Star!
It features a lot of amazing stories and the work of good friends.

The EU has a law where a company with a subscription has to offer an easy way to cancel it without penalty. Adobe has been fined for breaking this law plenty of times. There are authors with old acounts that unpublished books ages ago and they got this email.
Will you write an article about the legal implications of the unpopular 12 usd policy? There are users that unpublished old books and left their accounts vacant. They risk being forced to fork this annual fee and there is ko easy cancel account option anywhere. Very illegal.
