Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter. If you've not played what are your impressions of it's unique approach to the genre and how they were forward-looking despite being at odds with the series' established traditions?

I loved Spelunky, Binding of Isaac and many others but it's a genre I've mostly moved past and the over-saturarion has very much burnt me out.
Mute definitely does not work as effectively as it should. I dunno whether it's broken or just by design.
lol yeah, there's a few games where you can hot swap like that because the whole game gets loaded into memory and the game plays redbook audio.

Neurosis - An Undying Love For A Burning World
Perfectly sculpted, densely layered, lavishly produced, experimental, nice and goopy post metal from masters of the genre. The lineup changes haven't slowed anything down. It can be a bit ponderous and maybe a tad meandering, but overall a banger.
3/6 routes down in Chaos;Child. Gonna take a few days away from it though. Been grinding a week straight and don't wanna run out of steam for the rest, so back to Labyrinth of Touhou Tri this week. ;D
