Itâs also possible that he was buried with more of the Iliad than just this part, but only this fragment has survived. (I donât know enough about the archaeological find)

I had a similar thought. Like, why this passage? Was it BECAUSE it was from Homerâs Iliad? (What we all assume) Or was it because it was about ships? What if he was really into ships and/or hated the Trojans ?
That was a heck of a battle in the English Premier League. And you wonât be shocked to know Iâm elated with this result.
This first half, post Leeds loss, does not inspire confidence.
Friends, first, ânot specifiedâ is not a great runner-up (winner?)
Second, we can all do better than 3.10âand 3.11
3.12 is where itâs at if you want to be old đ
Quick peek at the essay I wrote on Lee Gold! She had been running the gaming APA Alarums & Excursions for almost 50 years and just called time on it last spring. Truly a legend in rpgs and a big part of my upcoming documentary podcast
Every match this week went the way I wanted it to. So⊠I understand why this is happening now #MUFC
No one should pay a 3rd party to do their taxes. If the tax code is so complicated, with so many loopholes, with such confused revenue reporting at the source, itâs wrong. It should never fall on the tax-payer. And rich people shouldnât be able to exploit such loopholes via exceptional resources.
I used a VPN to download a podcast episode because I canât handle, after 4+ years, the EXACT same ad that a French company sells to US-based podcasts.
That said, now I got 2.5 minutes of ads about for-profit tax software marketed to US consumers. Friends, this is wrong.
Otherwise, what a fun comedy!
Enjoyed the film Naale Rajaa Koli Majaaâbecause itâs Sunday, I also like a good chicken curry, and itâs super cute. Samrudhi Kundapura is excellent. My only complaint is when theyâre mean to the grandma, but thatâs a me-problem I have with any story in which characters disrespect a mom/elderly woman
Huge result for Tottenham--in a bad way, albeit. If you want to feel good, Spurs' fans, go enjoy the series Renegade Nell (Disney+) Excellent and fun that it happens in Tottenham circa very early 18th century.
What a first day at the office. Losing (so far) your first match and Romero now out with injury now.
âDe Zerbi, with a hairline thatâs going ever so slightly backwards.â - BBC 5
đ The guy just got here. At least comment on his clothes before we get to the manâs hair. (Love the BBC)
First big match of the day!
- De Zerbiâs first game in charge
- Spursâ first match since slipping into the relegation zone
What a fun Sunday đż
âBut who would you rather be, someone who lives apart from the world or someone who lives in it? Itâs one thing to enjoy luxury; itâs another thing to slip into the dangerous belief that the normal rules of human society should no longer apply to you.â

The good guys won.
I know I said I wouldnât watch any more Arsenal matches this season, and Iâm glad I broke that promise today. đ
Today, I got to spend time on a presentation (not code) đ±
I had the opportunity to share, with colleagues in the tech division who are more experienced than I, some of the knowledge and experiences Iâve gained with MCP.
Something the PhD taught me to do: teach yourself new things, at a deep level.

Itâs ok. On the one hand, making it into the top 3-6 places merely means that you *could* theoretically make it to the premier league. But itâs still a battle. Thereâs more to work on.
Grotesque (mostly a face, with evidence of lionâs or dogâs feet on both sides of the head) on display at the Palais des papes in Avignon
Stuff went down at Avignon. Just ask this little guy.
I apologize for my English. Sometimes I feel like itâs getting worse, which makes writing a novel (in English, bien sĂ»r) even harder.
What is going on with Tottenham?
Management made a terrible decision with Tudor. The supporters asked for one thing, other than not yet another terrible decision, and it was, please, NOT De Zerbi.
Et, bah, voilĂ . Poor Spurs fans.
âWhy not if we are (if I am) happy?â So, yes, he is leaving.
As a former PhD (historical musicology), Iâm new to dialogue writing. And talking to not-PhD (normal?) friends about it, I feel even weirder than I did before.
A little behind schedule, but better late than never.
- Spurs â 2
Poor Spurs fans. He shouldâve been fired weeks ago, and not just because it wouldâve made my prediction right.
Not like it will matter
(a) because itâs too late to complain about the shirt design
(b) because the USMNT wonât make it far enough for it to really matter
I want to say, the jersey design needs to work equally well from front to back. Pick a concept & stick with it
