Dominion is my home track and I’d much, MUCH rather go see the CARS Tour. Which I’ve done each year they’ve come to Dominion.

You’re definitely right about that, SF only cares about bottom lines & shareholders. They do not care about the visitors & workers whatsoever.

But I definitely see the positives of KD being a Herschend park. The entertainment especially getting a bump & actually giving BGW some legit competition.

I will say if the parks they are getting are parks like KD and Fiesta Texas? That’s a MUCH better option than the work Enchanted will have to do with St. Louis and a lot of those properties.

I actually wonder if Herschend will sell a couple more of the previous Palace parks like Adventureland?

That is definitely my main concern as well. I will say the difference is Herschend’s a private company compared to a publicly traded company like what Premiere was & what Six Flags is. And that Herschend gets money from several different sources outside of theme parks.

But … they need to slow down.

I would absolutely LOVE for KD to be a Herschend park, but only if the company has a vision + fail safes to make sure they aren’t growing too fast & have a long term plan for the park.

Either way, we’ll see what the coming weeks bring.

The rumors that are now coming up about Kings Dominion (+Fiesta Texas) possibly becoming a Herschend park soon has me feeling multiple ways.

I would ABSOLUTELY choose Herschend over Six Flags in a heartbeat.

The big concern I have is Herschend growing too quickly & getting into serious debt. 1/2
