I've been trying to make that point with her for about 3 yrs. She knows I take the same time off every year and then pulls this crap EVERY YEAR. It just forces the entire team to be short two people instead of just covering one person.
she's been around for eons but seniority is not a thing here!

As far as she is concerned her time off is owed so she can take off whenever cause it's HER time off regardless if other people are already booked. She also has 2x more time off than anyone else because she's been around decades longer

Does anyone else work with someone so incredibly self focused that even though they have to coordinate their vacation time with the team they insist their trip is more important even though everyone else's time was already approved off? She refuses to talk to the team until covering her comes up
