Walk The Line ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 8/10 IMDb

One Ive always wanted to but not gotten around to watching and I’m glad I did it on the big screen. Didn’t overly no much about Cash tbh, barring the odd song.
Phoenix is fabulous but Witherspoon for me gives one of her best performances.

Glenrothan ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6/10 IMDb

A very tranquil, easy watch. Nicely acted by the cast; and nicely directed by Cox. The Scotland scenery looked stunning.

Beer Bad ⭐️⭐️

It’s a fluff episode and deffo not the series finest. It has some moments and Gellar throws herself into is always. But you can tell the studio went “we need an episode about the perils of drinking”…and this is what we got. Booze make us cave men! 🤔

The Bodyguard

90s classic, Costner and Houston are both great, it’s just let down by the final 20 minutes for me as actually stalkers motives don’t seem to be made clear and it makes it feel a little messy.

Stand By Me

40 years old and still such a perfect piece of cinema. Funny, touching and easily the best coming of age film.

I Fall To Pieces s1x4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a creepy one with a very X-Files vibe for its tale of obsession. Doyle and Cordelia gel even more both getting some cracking lines.

Fear Itself s4x4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun episode, a simple haunted house number, which nicely reflects the fears of each of the guys, each one is nicely played out. And the ending is well funny.

A Star Is Born

Still such a bloody good film, remember seeing it on it release in 2018 and falling in love with it.
It just such a good version.

For me the relationship in this version rings more believable, and Gaga and Cooper bounce of each it other so well.

The Magic Far Away Tree ⭐️⭐️⭐️
6/10 IMDb

It looks great, the cast are likeable but it’s very much a film for under 10s, which I know as a kids film sounds perfect, but in this day an age the better kids films have something for adults too.

467 days sober today!

Odd day to celebrate?! But I forgot to do it Friday at 465 lol

Anyway I’m of to have a Five guys (the food not sex, as I might as well be sober on that front) and a cinema double bill.

Happy Sunday!

In The Dark s1x3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great continuation from Buffy, with a fun little guest star from Oz.
Spike’s open commentary of Angel is funny. And his torturing of Angel is brutal.
Highlight has to be first time we get to see Angel enjoying daylight, which Boreanaz acts so well.

The Harsh Light of Day s4x3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great to have Spike back and him and Harmony are fun together. The Gem is a cool Macguffin, and allows for fun daytime smackdown between Buffy and Spike. Plus Anya’s return is fun. It’s also good to have a human villain in Parker, what a dick!

Lonely Hearts s1x2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This one’s a little all over the place, the premise is straight forward. And the introduction of Kate is nice. Cordelia and Doyle have some fun well timed banter.

Living Conditions s4x2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gellar has fun her showing an extreme if slightly overreacting side of Buffy. While the story is slight it does allow some fun moments for each character.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Never actually saw this on the big screen on its initial release. And it’s only my second viewing, and tbh it actually was ‘t as jarring as I remember. Actually found it quite emotional at times.

City of…s1x1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Boreanaz shows he can and deserved a solo show. There’s everything we have come to love in the Buffy verse, horror, humour and action. Plus we get Cordy for familiarity & Doyle who’s a fun addition. There’s a couple of gaff’s with the whole daylight issue, but I can let them go.

Also will be doing Angel along side the rest of Buffy rewatch, as I’m a completist when it comes to to the Buffy Universe. And as spin off I always enjoyed it, even if it had some rocky character choices later on.

The Freshman s4x1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A nice opener setting up Buffy’s world post Angel, High School. The idea she’s struggle to fit in is something everyone can once again relate too. So much else works, Sunday is a great vampire, shame she’s dusted! Everyone else gets nice little moments. Oh and Pedro Pascal.
