Wow, that’s unreal that nobody said “don’t do that!”.
Are the asterisks supposed to be other letters? Is it supposed to read “be the fucking diff”
A drawing of Superman saving a kitten from being crushed by a falling structure.
I give, I love Superman too.
Not at all sure when I drew this but I’m sure it was for some Cleveland thing.
This new comic from @schweizercomics.bsky.social is phenomenal. I read it on his patreon and was so stoked I upgraded from a free to a paid subscriber.
Drawing of a mermaid,
Here’s the scan of that drawing.

Thank you. She was 19! We were very very fortunate to have so long together.

My cat Chalita passed a week ago. Just put up a public post of bunch of a drawings I did of her over the years at www.patreon.com/posts/chalit...
A partially completed drawing of a man playing the accordion
Work in progress: musician commission number six. I’ll let you guess.
This rules.
Haha

I went to a tree planting workshop with the land conservancy and got to help plant some trees at an elementary school. It was so fun! The kiddos with our group named all the trees and everything.
A drawing of a young tree planted in the ground surrounded by mulch, with a deer guard and stakes. It says How To Plant a Tree by John G with research from Frank W. Lewis.
I made this comic for Signal Cleveland about how to plant a tree. Cleveland is trying to boost the tree canopy and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy will hook you up with a tree but it turns out there's proper ways to plant them if you want them to survive.

Poster for Free Comic Book Day at Superscript Comics and Games featuring a Lunargirl punching the shop's logo, also a raccoon holding comics.
Cover to Uncanny X-Men #270 featuring Havoc blasting his weird radiation powers to the sky with other X-Men having been defeated.
I was def trying to "pay homage" to this devastating banger of a Jim Lee cover when I drew this. They should fuck with comics logos more.

Planting a tree this spring? Cleveland needs every branch and leaf it can get. The city’s tree canopy — the percentage of land covered by trees when viewed from above — is less than half the size it was in the mid-20th century and still shrinking.

A comic page with 5 panels showing a light post where a bird is sitting until a web hits it and the bird flies off to reveal that Spider-Man is swinging by.
A comic page with 4 panels. A coffee cup, a black cat, an astronaut and then a close-up on the cat/
Pages drawn at @natepowell.bsky.social's Artist in the Atrium event at the Cleveland Museum of Art on Saturday. He had these sheets with panels ready to go. Drawing Spider-Man is a blast! But I think I'm maybe more suited to this other kind of comic that potentially makes no sense.
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's "Woman at the Tub" captures an intimate moment with a woman bending over her basin, rendered in his signature style of soft, dynamic lines and muted colors. Part of the "Elles" portfolio, this piece offers a glimpse into the private lives of women in the late 19th century Paris, with an emphasis on realism and empathy.

Holy smokes, look at these @benjamindewey.bsky.social drawings!
Kiara Valdez while at First Second has acquired, in an exclusive submission, The Sea-Ice Sings by Anna Meyer (Saint Catherine), a coming-of-age YA historical fantasy about a polar maritime crew on the hunt for an arctic cryptid. Ari Yarwood will edit; publication is planned for fall 2028. Alexander Slater while at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates sold North American rights, now moving to Clare Mao.
Here she is! The PW announcement is live so I’m happy to share my sophomore graphic novel!
I love this story so much and I can’t wait to share it. It’s about my love of polar travel but I’m also exploring superstition, work culture, truth and memory.

In my head they’re dancing to T-Pain.
Stoked for @davidfwalker.bsky.social’s new book, The Monster of Blackenstyne! The more Frankenstein culture the better, as far as I’m concerned.
Minneapolis cartoonist Steve Sack has been on a roll lately.
He's been on the front lines of the ICE invasion and his cartoons are boiling with rage at ICE and Mad Emperor Piggy. Well worth checking out his Substack.
I loved it.
Inks for the preview pages of DESTINATION KILL ✏️
These pages are from back in 2023, which feels like a long time ago now!
Issue 1 is available for preorder now- on sale May 13th!
A 16 panel grid single page autobio comic, Unquiet Mind, about a recurring dream I used to have of navigating a surreal burning city as a wolf that has internalized the nature of being paralyzed the way the I am.
Threw this old one pager in with the newer work I'm reading for this presentation I'm doing tonight at the Willoughby Public Library.
