Absolute nonsense. These humans have full agency, and they can view reality the same as everyone else. But they also have a value system. And what they value above all else is their “team” winning. Those values are why the system is the way it is. So spare us your virtue signaling.

I don’t buy this for a second. Republican voters are fully aware of what they’re voting for. They’re not being tricked into voting against their own interests because their interest is that their “team” wins. Above all else, they want Republicans to win elections.

Here’s what to do: Hold people accountable when the catastrophic ramifications of their votes are so easily predictable as to be a foregone conclusion. People have agency. The information is readily available. Stop making excuses for these voters. They are not helpless.

Working a “gig” job does not absolve someone of accountability. Not to mention that this woman is an active participant in some serious propaganda. So maybe go virtue signal somewhere else.
