An industrial style building sits on a block with a similar building in Magnolia Promenade. It has a 2 story section and a 3 story section ii different colored bricks. There is a roof deck on the 2nd story section.

I figured out how to use custom venues to make an artist's collective studio! Four large studios for pottery and painting. Extra spaces for storage, snacks, socializing and woodworking. Artists are mostly not in the career but serious and needing the space and artistic support! More pics below.

Hey, Simmers! Yes, modders know that many (not all) .package mod files aren't loading.
We believe it's likely to be an EA-side issue, so I'm not listing any mods broken yet. But go do other stuff for now, or play vanilla.

Language Barriers was updated yesterday to add support for customizing the languages of worlds that were added to the game since the mod was last updated.

A lot of people seem to be ignoring the fact that this new marketplace is the direct result of the heavy cash flow CC ecosystem the community (both creator and player) has been fostering the past several years.
Perma-paywalls are fine, as long as EA can profit from it.

PSA: : EA broke romance autonomy. If you’ve noticed your Sims are no longer autonomously using non-modded romantic interactions, here’s why. EA added new autonomy tests that require Sims to be related in order to romance autonomously. Yes. Related. 😭 If you own Royalty & Legacy, it’s even worse. There’s a second autonomy test that requires Sims to be secret lovers, so romance autonomy is basically double cursed. I’ve created an all-in-one fix for these issues and the ones that still haven't been fixed for Adventure Awaits. The fix is included in my Deeper Social Autonomy mod, but if you don’t use it, you can grab the standalone fix here. Please spread the word about this fix so everyone can get their romance autonomy back!

I definitely intend to do this! I have a save where I've built Newcrest into Holland Park for my upper class Sims, so this pack has been made for them 😂
It's also funny because you don't even have to do the daily tasks to still get paid 🤭They're paid daily with extra if they complete the tasks but they still get a base amount if they don't. They just won't progress.
You also have to claim promotions, instead of them being awarded automatically.
Most do live off being Landlords and letting out properties, opening up their mansions to the public etc. Most of the British aristocracy is broke so while they technically *should* have jobs, most don't. So a noble career does kind of simulate what they do (or don't do, as the case may be).

It's actually set up surprisingly well. I've currently got a Sim in the Noble career, so both his adult daughters inherited titles. They can both have their own jobs but if I want one of them to inherit the Nobility, she'll then shift into the Noble career. So it's actually done well!
Yeah, makes sense. The British do exactly that; charity work but also lots of events and such. It's still their job, even if not in the typical way we'd think of a job.
In fact, I was playing around with the career yesterday and you can actually still have Sims with titles having other jobs.
If their parent is in the Noble career, the offspring get titles and can still have other jobs.
So only those in direct line being the noble actually is how it can be set up.
Also really pleased to see that Sims DO react when a Sim reveals a scandal. That wasn't staging in the trailer!
Well, our British royals don't tend to much, even those not direct to the throne, so it still makes sense to me 🤷♀️
