We have no mechanism for getting rid of him early in PA. His term doesn’t end until Jan 2029 (he is up for election Nov 2028). So while there are rumblings of possible replacements, it is too early for anything concrete. But know that PA Dems are furious and I don’t see how he wins if he runs again.

Pennsylvania is one of a handful of states that does not have a way to recall elected officials. We are stuck with him until the end of his term. The only way to get him out before that is he goes willingly or he dies. (Not advocating for his death in any way, just stating facts)

I have an 18 year old son, who does not really remember any other type of politics. We’ve had many talks about what it used to be and how we got here. Some of his questions catch me off guard, but we’ve been in this for so long he thinks this is just how it is and always has been.
