Devastated to learn from my colleague Don Romesburg that the Sonoma State University Women’s and Gender Studies Department is being eliminated, and all its tenured faculty are being fired, as part of “budget reductions”. wgs.sonoma.edu

Higher-ed faculty, we should ask how far our institutions will go to protect us when we refuse to comply with ICE.

We need to be asking chairs, deans, union presidents what they're going to do to protect us should we refuse ICE entry to our classrooms or should we refuse to identify a student.
