If you want to serve the public and are a democrat who supports an elected head of state, you are either excluded or have to lie when making the oath.
That is unacceptable. We don’t need grovellers or liars in positions of power. Allegiance should be to the country, the citizens and the law.

You can’t join the Scouts without taking an oath to the royals.
You can’t be in the army, navy, airforce, police, a Member of Parliament, a magistrate or a judge without taking the oath.
This excludes anyone who does not bow the knee to the leeches. It’s a stitch-up.

It seems that the royals cannot be arrogant, unethical or profligate enough for some people to stand upright and treat them as equals.
There are grovellers and indoctrination everywhere.

The other cool thing here is supporting choosing your server directly from the UI. Previously android users on a self hosted server had to recompile the android app for their server.
