Subtle creepy sounds are what get me.

What little details make a horror game actually scary for you?
Like the weird breathing in the next room, or a hallway that’s just a bit too quiet. 👀
Curious what gets to people.

I would give my opinion but that would spoil the projects we are working on!
What is a game concept that you have been dying to see someone create?
Give me your wildest ideas. (Within reason)

I believe the game that made me fall in love with gaming was Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64.
What’s the one game that made you fall in love with gaming?
Developers: what’s the game that made you want to make games?

That’s a good point, I would say it’s probably because of limitations at the time like you said but again that makes indie games all the more fun and unique!
It sounds like a hassle, but there was something exciting about spending forever trying to get a scratched CD to work. Frustrating at the time, but weirdly nostalgic now.
Personally, I’ve always felt that some of those earlier games have a unique charm to them, a different level of care and dedication that was put into their development.
What’s something you think modern games are missing that early-to-late 2000s games had?
I’m curious to hear from players and devs what do you wish would come back?
