I file free using and online tax service, but mostly because we're retired and don't have much of anything to claim. My state also has a free online filing for qualified people, but you need to know a little bit about doing taxes to use their free-file system.

In Michigan, City Clerks handled all the behind the scenes election work. I was a City Clerk for many years. Clerks always made sure machines were tested properly, mail ballots were handled properly and elections were accurate. We never had a question of fraud come up until the felon lost in 2020.

Congrats! 😀 We have 5 eggs, last was laid yesterday. He thinks she should start incubating, but so far she thinks she needs a few more days of freedom first. We're still early here in western PA.

We do, to a point. In Congress we have the Minority Leaders of the House and Senate, but right now they are fairly impotent. They can speak up, the majority of Congress ignores them and the public criticizes them. And here we are.
