Interesting. It seems in Wales they are only sending to the male in the household!

UK households made up of straight couples; have you also had electoral โ€˜literatureโ€™ sent to your address from Reform, addressed only to the male in the house?

All other literature from other parties has been addressed to both of us.

Amazon will pay $20.5 million to settle allegations that two of its Oregon data centers helped contaminate groundwater.

This is exactly why communities across the country are organizing to stop data centers โ€” and winning.

Never doubt your power to change the system.

Incredible! Isnโ€™t it amazing how we are so used to the brighter stars of the constellations guiding us around the sky?

Walking through the pitch black dunes in gales and I get the absolute life scared out of me by a Typhoon jet. Was really weird seeing its glowing engines in the dark night. Pretty unusual activity, anyone else been buzzed by them this evening?

It's always a good idea to keep dogs on a lead at this time of year for the safety of livestock and our ground nesting birds.

Absolutely. I have read each parties manifesto and only theirs seems carefully constructed and seemed to grasp the nuances of each issue. It also doesnโ€™t just refer to โ€˜Walesโ€™ as if itโ€™s one homogenous blob.

Society pushed families into having kids and then turned their back on them the minute they needed support. This is what Plaid understands. I donโ€™t feel like any other party does. Thatโ€™s why this little leaflet actually filled me with hope when it dropped through the letter box. Please vote wisely.

My long and rambling point is - if you truly want our society to have more kids, then support the families, build the village that is needed. I promise you, instances of issues we face in society like anti social behaviour, VAWG etc will start to drop.

I am the only one of my siblings to have finished school all the way to 6th form. The only one with a full set of GCSEโ€™s and the only one to go on to uni. Coincidence? I think not.

I was loaned an instrument, a clarinet, and I treasured that battered old thing. Music and the arts were the first things that were cut from social schemes, and are under attack again from parties like reform who donโ€™t see their worth. But guess what? Those lessons kept me in school.

As the eldest sibling I was โ€˜luckyโ€™ in a sense, as I was the last to benefit from social schemes such as free musical instrument lessons. That scheme ended with my year. I loved music, I was very good and it was an escape from things at home and the academic subjects that I struggled with

We started off ok until my dad got sick. Then things got bad, rapidly. My parents did their best, but when there isnโ€™t enough money, it impacts all realms of your life. Those who say money canโ€™t buy happiness donโ€™t know what theyโ€™re talking about, quite frankly. Without stability, you drown.

I know how our society treats and judges families in low economic households. The shame and guilt are crippling and stay with you for life. Society wants you to have kids until those kids need support through benefits and schemes like free school meals. Then they treat you like a societal parasite

You hear the same old arguments โ€˜we got by and made it workโ€™, โ€˜itโ€™s never the right time to have kidsโ€™ and I vehemently oppose these stances. I grew up in poverty, despite having two parents who worked until my dad was too poorly to work anymore.

This is how you tackle the โ€˜falling birth rateโ€™. You support families and importantly, you support women into work. Many women my age cannot afford a family due to childcare costs and I refuse to quit work to have a child that I would then have to raise whilst struggling @plaidcymru.bsky.social

I donโ€™t know about you Mike, I just donโ€™t feel like I can start my day right without my daily dose of bigotism. It really sets me up for the day.

Happy International Dark Sky Week! ๐ŸŒŒ

When was the last time you remember standing under a truly dark sky? Have you ever?

The Milky Way has been lost to over a third of humanity. Weโ€™ve scrubbed it from the skies with light pollution.
