And like…it’s difficult to even make a career change when going back to school* is not free, you’re too ill to do a lot of jobs and then you’re 40+ so employers decide that’s “overqualified” therefore you no longer need food, clothing and shelter?

(*I don’t want a doctorate now. Had bad experience with the app process when I was interested in one over a decade ago; same schools that didn’t want me…would have professors using my writing on their syllabi and publish books by people who reference me? They don’t want *me* there, just the words.)
