In Parliament today, I raised the brilliant Salford Youth Zone and urged Ministers to visit and see how centres like this can play their part in the Government’s knife crime strategy, with the extra resources needed to support young people properly.

I spoke in Parliament to raise concerns about potential profiteering in the energy sector. With the potential of rising costs hitting Salford families and affecting food prices, it’s vital the Government takes proactive action to protect constituents alongside ongoing reviews.

This week I spoke on the ongoing issues at Royal Mail. The brilliant postal workers have the solutions, they must be listened to and we need to see a network fund, contributed by all those who use it to bring fairness back to the postal sector.
