Honestly any game over $100 I would really question if it's worth it. Even Elden Ring was a massive game and I felt I didn't pay enough for it, huge amount of content compared to previous Souls games for maybe $60-70. Thankfully we have indie games that aren't quite so insane about their pricing.

It depends how much you want to penalize those who make artwork or do photograpy or long-form content with pictures. For penalizing bloat and unoptimized content, maybe 1MB as an upper limit or maybe 500kB for extra difficulty. My images tend to be around 100-400kB each but I do try to optimize.

I'm happy to announce I'm launching the world's first HMM or Human Manual Model. Unlike a LLM, a HMM allows users to give tasks to a human via spoken or typed prompts. The human will do the tasks and will even learn how to do the task more efficiently if the task is to be repeated.

The Wayback Machine is not the problem, media preservation is not a problem, the problem is AI bots and scrapers ignoring copyright and stealing bandwidth and content without care or permission for financial gain. The Wayback Machine should be protected.

It's good that genAI has a dedicated channel and is separated from the other channels. I've seen some servers have a "politics containment zone" for political discussions (though I don't tend to use them). Is there a policy to protect LGBTQ people? Like, no homophobia -no misgendering, deadnaming?

Submitted an entry to the Inkscape vector challenge for November which is to make a mandala. This one is inspired by First Nations artwork.

This is being worked on! The latest iteration is w3c.github.io/gpc/. The big problem here is that legislature needs to get involved, and if you think web standards are slow, wait til you see how long it takes to get unilateral agreement from global governments ππ
A way to automatically deny all tracking and advertising cookies, and additional toggles for function and "necessary" cookies. Some standardization or easy way to add "exceptions" to a cookie block list so we don't have to have to interact with these "Do you accept cookie" banners everywhere.
