Gonna be That Person and point out that villains are nearly always framed as right about the problem but too extreme in their methods, leading to a situation where the hero fights for the status quo and the problem the villain identified is never addressed.

This job isn’t what I wanted to be doing anyway. Our old host was bullied into pursuing it by our abuser. And they’re both gone and I’m just stuck doing this because it pays better than anything else we know how to do…. But there’s no joy in that even anymore for any of us.
My job doesn’t make me happy and lately we’ve been having trouble focusing at work and making dumb mistakes and honestly I just think it’s time to figure something else out. But I need the money to live. And I have no idea what’s next for us.
I feel this way too. I saw someone saying “there can be scientific advances we can’t even think of from this yet!” And all I can think is “it’s awful here on earth, people don’t have enough and our countries are all led by fascists. Any advance would probably just be used against good people.”

Maybe it's because I grew up on the space shuttle and the astronauts could walk off like getting off an airplane but this seems so antiquated having like 30 people slowly attach a flotation device to a capsule over an hour just to get the astronauts off.
