Governments know what small businesses need. They know the businesses are over-burdened with taxes and regulations. They know the permits and red tape stop them from competing with their large corporate donors.
They know how to the right thing for SMBs and for the people.
But they don’t.

As book banning seems to be a thing again, we should remember that small book sellers and used book stores are the front line of defence against censorship. They deserve our support.

You hear about billions and trillions in the media. But a small business in your neighborhood would love it if you spent a few bucks in their shop.
Simple ways to support small business: 1. Buy from them. 2. Unsubscribe from multinationals who don’t care about you. 3. Move your tech to small tech. 4. Shop local in-person.
If “plan B” for tariffs was better anyway, why didn’t they use that plan first?
But can you prove 42 is not the meaning of life, the universe, and everything?
Tacos.
The Smart Auto-Assistant, Vincent42 will become the parent company of SMB Autopilot. Same great local marketing but now paired with helpful automations for Small Businesses.
SMB Autopilot seems to be a name that many small businesses dont associate with.
SMB is a term used in marketing, sales, government, and accounting. But in my experience people cannot remember it. They call it “SB autopilot” or “S and B Pilot” etc.
To that end we are working on a new name.
Small businesses have a huge opportunity in 2026 to use ai+automation with “human in the loop” to surpass slow moving large corporations.
A local small business has that present you can’t get shipped in time. #HolidayShopping #SmallBusiness
Shop local this holiday season.
The people who say “you can support a small business without spending money are the same ones who do one-day boycotts of huge multinationals.
It’s ok to spend money at those megacorps 364 days a year but “support” small business spending nothing?
It’s nice to be a #smallbusiness owner and have “paid your dues”, but wouldn’t it be better if it wasn’t such a struggle?
Like, if we got half the breaks of the government-lobbying mega-corps?
Supporting small business also means solo-preneurs, tradespeople, market vendors, and others who are not giant conglomerates.
Support a small business today.
Small businesses aren’t “small.” They’re 98% of our economy, 70% of our jobs, and 100% of what makes a community worth living in.
Support the builders, the dreamers, and the locals keeping the lights on.
In Canada, if Parliament doesn’t pass the government’s budget, it’s a loss of confidence in the gov.
Because budgets decide how taxes and spending work, rejecting it means MPs no longer support the gov.
When that happens, the Prime Minister must resign or call an election.
Meanwhile 🇺🇸 is shutdown…
Are we the only ones tired of politicians saying, “we support small business” and then literally doing things that hurt small businesses?

Local businesses are the backbone of our communities.
Small businesses need to focus on local customer more than ever (if they can) and that’s why we exist.
Today I got “Will #AI Take My Job? 2” on the Kindle. I haven’t read it all yet but so far I am learning that I don’t really know anything about modern AI.
I consider artists and authors small businesses too, because they are basically a consultant for culture and also deserve our support.
Home services are vital to the economy and our way of life.
Tradespeople built everything we have. Literally everything. We should treat them with the respect they deserve as professionals.
Golf seems like an expensive sport.🥸
Support local.
Support small.
Support tradespeople.
Support indie.
Support your community.
Bought Matt Rouse’s new AI book on preorder. The last one was why we changed our business model.

If your business can’t be found in a local search, it’s essentially invisible.
