We’ve had smartphones in our pockets for over a decade now; basically supercomputers that can access the entire sum of human knowledge in seconds.

So how come it feels like people are getting dumber?

I went through the same thing with Brexit; I lost my business over that nonsense;
for a while, I truly thought I’d never be able to trust people again.
Thankfully, you do still find that trust for family—eventually;
though I’ll admit, I’m always a little on guard now.

I wonder if all the damage Trump is doing doesn’t divide the US too deeply to heal.
There’s so much anger, fear, and mistrust being stirred up; not just between left and right, but between Americans and the institutions meant to protect democracy.

Can the US unite again after this regime is over?

I wouldn’t mind that as I am Welsh!

Whenever I ask my kids to do something, the response is always the same:

“I’ll do it in a minute.”

And spoiler alert: that minute never comes. I think they’ve been taking lessons from Trump and his famous “two weeks” promise. Different timelines, same results.

My son just asked me to name my top 5 favourite albums of all time — but it’s way too hard! I’ve got Radiohead – The Bends, The Beatles – Abbey Road, and The Black Keys – El Camino locked in, but I’m struggling to narrow down the last two.
