Doing well thank you, Michael.
I think social media feels a big shallow these days. I have been feeling increasingly overwhelmed by all the Ai content, and "crap" out there, and have been avoiding sharing things. And on here, I think I am still finding my feet.

Hope you are doing well?

Thank you Ronald, your kind word and feedback means a lot.

Absolutely, the dual colours green-blue and amber-brown, and the gentle wave rolling in for me speaks about change, and how everything, the world, is constantly in motion, how every day hold something beautiful and unique.

Silver sands and an Amber rainbow Walking along the beach last week—silver light and electric clouds, and a rare 'amber rainbow' where the estuary meets the sea. Full photo essay in the link below.

Wading through the intertidal waters, as the sun was setting on a rainy summer's day.

Photographed in Betty's bay, South Africa.

Today, I watched some African Penguins being released back into the wild at Stony Point Penguin Colony.

These birds are critically endangered, with only about 8300 breeding pairs left. This was a special day.

Black and white photo of praying mantis nymph, likely the South African praying mantis.

The mantis sits holds to the surfave of a broad leave, and the background positioned to the right is blurred.

Early this year I had the privelage relocating a dozen baby praying mantis from our living room couch (I assumed they hatched nearby), into our garden. This baby I put on the surface of a canna leave, a surface right next to thick bushes which would provide ample cover.

The exact same photo in colour vs black and white.

What do you think #Bluesky, which one is your favourite?

Of cause. I think we also tend to foget that nature can be brutal.
