After all, building and training an AI is an expensive task. It might not be worth it for many roles within a business as the cost saving is too small. But, think of all those multimillion exec packages. Surely, there’d be a good return in replacing those with an AI?

When you have an owner/big shareholder CEO this might one day happen. But what about a plc owned many many thousands of shareholders with none in control. Might they just save on a huge exec pay packet and get an AI to run the company instead?
