Our next trip to SD, we will meet. And tell lies and ridiculous stories. Beer may be consumed.

I do well on pub quiz. Would you like another beer? Yes please. Are you driving? No.
I only have one person to on my Pub Quiz team and that is Steve R. He can name the artist of every tune from 1955-1980. Without fail.

I really liked this article. They are doing their best to get the best from this team. It is really apparent with the pitching. Splitting a series with the Dodgers is not nothing.

My wife is wearing the same Colorado Rockies sweatshirt that was worn during the last two wins. You may be mistaken.

See also "Creech Brown USAF." Very respected officer, for other things. The color was bad when universally applied to all buildings on all AFBs, everywhere.

Waterproof mattress liners. You will probably want them.

Unless something is broken or bad, doing nothing is absolutely ok and should often be the default response. You can't fix much at this stage of life. Make them as comfortable as possible but keep your expectations low. You're piloting a ship on it's last voyage not training for America's Cup. 2/2

Find a good Dr for them. >>Review meds.<< Our experience is that overmedicating is pretty common and a lot of Drs don't really care about their elderly patients. Others have good responses in this thread. Won't repeat them. Will add this. 1/2

The same behavior when they wander the store. Unaware of anyone or anything else.

1 yen = .0063 dollars. So this is not "dumping." It is a little over 1B$. Good grief.

Skinny retail asparagus is awful. Home grown will keep weeks in the fridge with the bottom of the spears in water. Like 3 weeks, no problem! Makes me wonder how long commercial asparagus from California and Mexico has been in transit. Because it is garbage.

I would say it is not worth the extra effort. Asparagus fresh from the garden is very sweet and tender. If you grow your own you will get some % of big fat spears, very tender. Unlike what we get in the grocery store here in CO. 2/end

Asparagus grows in clumps which you can cover as the asparagus grows, creating a mound. I have seen folks use a mix of dirt and pine shavings. Hit or miss for this method. We still have too much sun. (Unlike Germany!) 1/n

Actually easy to grow. The hardest part is patience for the first good crop. My tip for growing: water regularly. As you would water a putting green.

Got my asparagus cut before the freeze tonight. Yes. Those are beer cups from #Rosenblatt Stadium. Good memories of the Omaha Royals and CWS games.

I have buckets and water troughs covering stuff. With rocks to hold them down. Cuz, you know, wind.

The pitching has been refreshingly good. The strikeout plagues, not so much. Better than last year without a doubt.
