Adding screenwriter to my resume tonight. It feels damn good. Even if this doesn’t pan out, I’ve learned a lot about adapting one of my books, extracting the essence of the story, trimming unnecessary scenes (or merging them), and being proud of what I’ve accomplished. #searchfornewblood

8 days to go. I’m halfway through my 2nd draft and it’s feeling fantastic! I’m beginning to think I have a knack for adaptations.

I wasn’t PLANNING on adapting my horror novel Truth or Consequences into a screenplay this weekend, but uh… it’s happening. Not sure what’ll happen to it, but it’s a damn good story. Needs someone like Robert Rodriguez to direct.

I took all of my books off Kindle because Bezos is an @$$hole who doesn’t need my money.

I don’t have it in me to start a new novel this summer. I think fall/winter is my jam to write and be more creative as I hunker down for the cold weather. We’ll see what happens. Got a batshit/crazy idea though!

Got a #bookreview for UNTIL WE OPEN IT.

Tried something new alternating between different POVs for this story. Though it may take some time to learn who you are reading about, it does get easier as you read and know their situation and voice. Wrote this in the chapter order, pantsing as I went.

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES is a hell of ride!

Thanks! I have found a pretty great rhythm for the last 2 books... picked up a fairly cheap tablet and bluetooth keyboard to keep at my bedside so I can write away before going to sleep. If I'm downstairs, I use my laptop. All in a Google Doc for quick access. Keep at it!!
