Roughly: Trump uses extortion & blackmail. It’s all he uses. Against universities, law firms, states. And they all give in, which only makes him ask for more. It’s a Mafia-style protection racket, and it’s Trumps one kind of deal. So far, no one has said “No” and they need to.

I really don’t think we quite realized how much the first Trump impeachment had identified Trump’s fundamental nature and the reason he should never be given any power www.tiktok.com/t/ZP82q8je9/
Ah, he never disappoints.
You know what stories I would like to read and hear about?
People who have been pushed even more to the left/progressive/ Dem socialist side after the last several years-- and after everything happening with the Dem establishment now.

In 2015 “build the wall” was condemned by every Democrat and every-Republican-candidate-but-one. Now it’s boilerplate for Republicans, and negotiable for Democrats. One guy did that.
Make them defend it. If we’re glib and don’t bring the fight, they get to skip the fight. And this is a fight that’s embarrassing to defend.
Wow, CIA, you’re gonna let him do that to you? Crazy that you’re just gonna let him do that to you. Ah, but what can ya do?
Hmm, actually good question, what *could* you do? I dunno, but I wouldn’t let him just do that to me.

Why didn’t other Democrats follow in Al Green’s footsteps? Where was the solidarity?
you’re fired. wait you’re rehired. email us a list of things you’ve done today wait forget it you’re fired again. come back your job was important. you’re fired. or hired. come in to the office. wait the office has no computers go home. we are the department of government efficiency.
The glib “What’s new?” response by our side diffuses justified anger.
Then folks like Rogan don’t feel the heat for literally hosting a Neo Nazi. We need to stop being so “clever”.
Every single Democrat should interrupt until they are thrown out. EVERY SINGLE ONE
Just fyi, being cynically over it all counts as complying in advance.
I like it when a football player does something good and then they keep on running like they get the Zoomies
probably the most mischievous grin ever
@jasongore.bsky.social this Jeep halftime reminds me that EVERY time I see the Jeep logo I think about your inscrutable tire cover with two Phil Collinses as the e’s. Every Jeep.
I would do anything to see the faces off the CGI flying mustache ad team when the CGI flying eyebrows ad aired.
This sucks!
Trying to find a happy medium between not knowing anything that's happening in the world and being pissed off all the time
Grim, sick shit
Screenshot of Hollywood Reporter interview: “I don’t want to sell this. To who? No one should own this. The fact that I have to do this with my team is not OK. Part of this is out of spite. I’m angry that I’m here having to do this, and the government hasn’t spent the money to do this themselves,” Mills says. “So, no, it’s not for sale. No, I’m not open to change all of a sudden, and I just don’t give a shit.”

They can’t cover it until Important People raise hell about it. Ted Cruz will go on Fox News to yell about this kind of thing at the drop of a hat. Will Chuck Schumer do it now? “Alito must resign! Recuse himself from Trump cases immediately and hand us his phone records to investigate further.”
I love the Superdog.
I don't know who needs to know this, but Pro Publica has an online thing that will format a letter to your US health insurance company to demand the records behind a claim denial. (which the insurance is then legally required to provide in most cases)
