GH3 is a lot more competitive than the other games. i'm still going to try to get as close to top 500 as i can, but i don't have really any confidence that i'll make it

that being said - this game is where the charting really starts to take a turn into the cumbersome and awkward, especially with how frequently they use 3 note chords. neversoft took this trend and amplified it significantly, while harmonix backed off it

GH80s was not nearly as difficult or competitive as the rankings for GH2 - one run through the set and then tightened up scores on half of the songs to get into the top 500. there's room to grow here, but i kinda just want to move onto GH3
