@mrjamesob.bsky.social Regarding the letters. This is a enlightening resource. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

Thanks for posting this. Having not attended February's event I was unsure when the next one would be. The Quad site, from what I've seen at least, doesn't give events in chronological order which makes searching problematic!
Those at quarter past the hour specifically is intriguing! I am yet to find any 4 turn up as scheduled. And still, I haven't learned my lesson. Bikes and foot FTW!
You live on Arriva's route 4?! The only company hereabouts that had to rollback on saying that their timetables were literally approximations.
Hey. A needful undergrad sociology student would appreciate assistance, if you'd be so kind to complete (and share!)? forms.office.com/e/93THKWC0VZ...
Always!
In the longer term it will likely be more damaging for the party than it is for Rayner (that's my preference anyway if any entity is going to be harmed by this saga!)
One has to work twice as hard when coming from a subordinate or marginalised position.
Thanks for sharing this. He is a figure that I'm curious about in the way that I am about Cummings (though I'm not sure that I have the capacity to go through his commentary!)
A female upstart to boot who is still like 'normal people' insomuch as she hasn't ditched her dialect or language. In short, she's a she who has has refused to compromise and despite, or in spite of, that she has gained influence and respect.
Real ale FTW. Derby is consistently number 1 for the stuff in terms of real ale pubs per capita. You should come - I can recommend several good drinking establishments. There's a beer fest coming up too! derbymuseums.org/event/derby-...
I wouldn't bet on that, sadly.
I think that we deride these people at our perile. While I wouldn't seek to be 'protected' or find much in common with them, it accounts for why Reform and the far & radical right messaging is becoming normalised. These are the patriarchy being repressed, just not of the middle class and above.
A potentially stupid question .... but .... these TOTP posts - which streaming services are these relating to?
Oops, I missed this! On the Dubrek site it stated 7pm when I'd checked earlier in the day.
It's well worth booking on to a behind the scenes tour, if you can.
Where was that?
That's most of the list, I suspect?!
I am. I thought it clashed with Bloodstock but I'm there now (with very poor reception hence the silly-o'clock reply! As well as being too busy to look on here!)
I'm somewhat confused by Angela Rayna atm; she seems to be completely behind S'Kier but more politically aligned with the new as yet unnamed left party. I can't help feeling slightly disappointed.
S'Kier seems to be actively pushing people towards the 'other' though.
Anyone at Bloodstock festival this weekend, send me a message (if you want to - it'd be lovely to meet people that I'm following / being followed by!)
It will be if Peter Thiel or the like are involved. Given that his company already has access to NHS data makes the prospect concerning.
@bankofengland.bsky.social I'd really like to see Mary Wollstonecraft, The Orrery by Joseph Wright, and the Silk Mill marked on the new notes. Vote on themes ends today www.bankofengland.co.uk/banknotes/he...
Nonexistent.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social The point raised about it being OK for "our" men assaulting "our" women but not for people of other heritage is absolutely bang on. Perfectly phrased by your caller.

I want to believe you..... but..... given the performance thus far, my hope is extremely cautious.
@vicderbyshire.bsky.social would be my preferred choice. Or the return of Mishal Husain. I generally refrain from watching or listening to her now.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social For wellbeing reasons, I think the summer holidays should be reduced and added to the winter term which is most intense, has fewer bank holidays, and moods can drop with shorter and colder days.
