Rehabilitation of the Dandelion!
No other plant in the Netherlands attracts as many bee species: 107. In early spring, when nothing else is blooming, it is simply there. Meadow bird chicks that have just hatched depend on the insects that are drawn to dandelions. No dandelion, no insect, no chick.

Morning walk. Two of our neighbours‘ cats chasing each other outside our front door just as we wanted to start our walk. Accidentally disturbed five nutrias during their breakfast. Went away quickly so that they could enjoy it in peace. Took the long route, Zora had lots of sniffing opportunities.

Morning walk. Spring is here! Some cold spells in the forecast, but today was beautiful.

Ich kenne jemanden, der da in leitender Position tätig ist, den werde ich mal fragen. Muss ja einen Grund dafür geben.

Rurtalbus. Ich hab ja Glück und der nächste kam 15 Minuten später, aber diese Nicht-Information ist einfach nervig. Ich weiß, warum ich sonst mit dem Fahrrad fahre, aber Wetter & Halsentzündung waren heute dagegen…

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel😠 Bus soll um 16:32 kommen. In der App als pünktlich angezeigt, auf der Anzeigetafel angekündigt. 16:32 Uhr. Bus aus der App und von der Anzeigetafel verschwunden. Kam selbstverständlich auch nicht.

Heute beim Morgenspaziergang mit dem Püppi zwei niedliche, kleine und rundliche Tierchen gesehen, die sich sofort in die Rur stürzten, als wir näher kamen. Junge Nutrias oder Biber vermutlich. Viel zu flott für Fotos, leider.

Eine rote Stoffrosenblüte und ein sehr kleines gelbes Kunststoffentchen liegen/sitzen auf einem mit leichtem Reif überzogenen Zaunpfahl. Im Hintergrund die noch sehr winterliche Kuhweide.

Das kleine bunte Kunstwerk auf dem Zaunpfahl am Wirtschaftsweg hält schon einige Wochen durch.

Gemähte Fläche mit neu angepflanzten Sträuchern und Bäumen, im Hintergrund fließt die Rur.

Samstag kann ich ausschlafen, deshalb war ich dann auch schon um zwanzig vor fünf wach🙄 Habe dann das frühlingshafte Wetter für einen langen Spaziergang mit Püppi genutzt und mich gefreut, dass auf der gemähten Fläche an der Rur nicht etwas aufgebaggert wird, sondern stattdessen angepflanzt wurde😀

A sad ghost of a woman who thinks that her husband left her, but together we find that really he died on his way back to her and we manage to find his ghost and all of us return to the mansion. There, we all live happily ever after, adopting stray cats and dogs and tending the garden and the house.
