5/5 But we’re not backing down. We will keep organizing, advocating, and building with communities statewide for healthcare access regardless of status, for protection from surveillance, and for the resources people need to live and thrive. Because dignity and care should never be negotiable.
4/ Apple Health Expansion funding continues, but not at the level communities fought for. Budget cuts and policy changes mean fewer people covered, and lower-quality care for those who are. Meanwhile, demand is only increasing.
3/ But the gap between what passed and what’s needed is still wide. At a time of rising federal enforcement and deepening harm, too many Washingtonians remain without the support they need to feel protected and healthy.
2/ Because of collective action, state legislators passed 12 key victories. From stronger worker protections to increased accountability and funding for critical programs, these wins matter. They will have a real impact in people’s daily lives.

Visit bit.ly/HealthCareForAllWA by 2/23 to tell lawmakers: fully protect Apple Health Expansion
2/ Here in WA, Black immigrants and refugees from Africa, the Caribbean & beyond are vital to our communities as organizers, workers, artists, parents, and leaders. This #BlackHistoryMonth, we honor a story shaped by shared struggle, solidarity across borders & the collective pursuit of liberation.
