Data centers alone I think will be the thing that crushes them, they do what they can to pass the cost off to the people around them, which will backfire, no body wants to live near them, and they need them everywhere, and eventually the planet will run out of water and we'll all die anyway.

I don't think the bubble will take ages either, unlike NFTs which the major problem was function, and nobody wants it.
AI has 3 major weights on its neck, no function, everyone hates that, and AI data centers, they don't have enough to meet the boomer demand, and it's costing them too much as is.

The indie boom is a great example of this. Every AAA game that released became the same because the industry started following format over design. So people bought indie, this is format by AI, nobody wants to play the same slop AI will produce, and graphics wise nobody wants to look at it either.

Upset gamers mean nothing. That's always been the case, but the lesser quality games become as AI is used to make them, people will just stop buying them, and that's the blowback that will occur for the major players in the industry.

I only mean the way of NFTs as to how AI is being crammed down everyone's throats, but the reality is there is no meaningful use or desire for any of this in the public. It's also not helped by the fact that non of this has yet to make a payout for those pushing it, and everyday it gets more toxic.

The only reason Nvidia is even pushing this is just do to the amount they have invested in this, like Microsoft. They have to try and force it onto people because when ai finally goes the way of NFTs it just might take them with it. But people don't want this slop, and they are about to find out.

We'll see, we really don't even need the "big players", just the labor, and the consumers. I really don't think there will be a big push even by greedy publishers because gamers don't want this and it'll reflect in their bottom line. We've seen the push, backlash, and back peddle.

Every studio indie or AAA should be absolutely suing the living hell out of Nvidia right fucking now.

Devs hard work is not for a key player in gaming to plaster their AI slop filters over.

Devs stop going to work for big publishers, make all gaming indie again. The main reason prices go up is to fund these giant publishers, and mostly corporate execs.
Destroy this industry, and change the landscape, publishers should be coming to the devs! The hungry come to the cooks, so starve them!

It is of my speculation that they made the switch from the industry standard because Israeli AI slopware is cheaper then the decades of well-established practices and language experts of the of the industry standard. Unbridled capitalism incentivizes maximum profits, not quality.

There have been many documented cases of inaccurate translation since they made the switch from the industry standard last year. This isn't from me alone, I won't lie I'm dub heathen personally, but my wife and friends, and online communities aren't.
