If you think AI is going to replace devs, go try upgrading Tailwind v3 to v4 and tell me how that goes
3/ Cursor offers an early access program that gives you early access to these experimental features. You can enable it in Cursor settings.
2/ Autocontext (Beta)
Cursor can automatically include relevant code in your conversations using embeddings and a custom model. Instead of manually selecting context with @-symbols, it analyzes your prompt and includes the most relevant code from your codebase.
1/ Notepads (Beta)
Notepads are powerful context-sharing tools in Cursor that bridge the gap between composers and chat interactions. Think of them as enhanced reference documents, allowing you to create reusable contexts for your development workflow.

I believe one can build just for the fun of it 😁
You are in control
> You can post anything you want, in any format you want, with no one monitoring you. In addition, you share simple readable links. These links are permanent and will always work.
You are better connected
> Your articles and status messages can be distributed to any platform, not just one, allowing you to engage with everyone. Replies and likes on other services can come back to your site so they’re all in one place.
Your content is yours
> When you post something on the web, it should belong to you, not a corporation. Too many companies have gone out of business and lost all of their users’ data. By joining the IndieWeb, your content stays yours and in your control.
Tired of the corporate web? Try the IndieWeb, a community of independent and personal websites based on the principles of:
- Owning your domain
- Using it as your primary online identity
- Publishing on your own site first
- Owning your content

It kept insisting on :alignment=center, and then FFmpeg error code 8: Error applying option 'alignment' to filter 'drawtext': Option not found
Instead of :text_align=M+C as in the current docs
Claude 3.7 Sonnet is great and is going to replace devs, but still can't align some text with FFmpeg
Material UI is so ugly
Also, it is blatantly obvious when used
The library isn’t as complete as competitors
It is open-source, but you have to pay to access premium MUI X components
Seriously, why should one pick MUI?
Their auth layer is good, but if you can manage authentication by yourself I would rather get a VPS and spin my own web server and PostgreSQL instance
Last time was probably in 2023 🤣

Comparison between Egyptian hieroglyphs and feature maps from convolutional neural networks
High-level feature maps from CNNs have a weird similarity to ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs 👀
Locked out of my Spotify playlists after traveling for more than 14 days.
It looks like free users can’t listen abroad.
It’s 2025, a global world, why this limitation?
For more $2/month, YouTube Premium gives ad-free video and music.
Why do people still pay for Spotify?
We made a website monitoring tool that detects price drops, new features, and updates on web pages. Thoughts? 👀
Cloud is okay if you genuinely need auto-scaling or a complex distributed infrastructure, otherwise, it is over-engineering.
Plus, with Cloud, a sudden traffic spike or a bug causing retries can leave you with a bill so high it might ruin your finances.
Too many devs wasting money on Cloud services when a simple VPS could handle the workload just fine.
- VPS is cheaper
- VPS is simpler
- VPS gives you full control
