My mom lived along the Great Miami River in Dayton OH with wooded space down a steep hill. Lots of kritters - possums, raccoons, groundhogs. There was a weekly run to the Wonder Bread thrift shop. She fed them along with a bunch of semi feral cats.

Sad news to pass on. Gloria Stover passed away on March 15. She had been active on the Marcon concom and was always a friend of #OVFF. I am a former con chair of OVFF from a million years ago. #filk

75 on Sunday, snow on Monday

In Ohio, 75 on Sunday, and now we have snow. Not a lot, but enough to cover grass and roofs, maybe half an inch.

Ohio weather all over the place. High today 75. Tonight into tomorrow, wind and storms with a cold front moving in. High Tuesday 26. Yup, falling 50 degrees. Good grief!

But there are ways to do it without an actual curse. My favorite is "may you get what you deserve". If you are sunshine and cupcakes, it's a blessing. If you are an evil, rotted hulk, well, the universe notes that and can deliver appropriately. Sort of like pushing karma.
