They were just sitting in a box, not in a fridge. Weighed it and took its temp when I got it home. 4.7 lbs and 57°, so had been unrefrigerated for some hours, but completely sealed and full of preservatives. I froze half as thick slices.
So, Baloney Gravy?
Any fave recipes?

Northern boy here. Never had baloney (or any kind) gravy for breakfast. But suddenly in possession of a giant hunk of meat I don't know what to do with, which may not have been properly refrigerated. Any cooking suggestions?
Nearby fruit/veg "stand"/supermarket was selling these for $5 each.

For those Orban-aligned officials who do not resign, what is the process to remove them? Is this something the National Assembly does, via a process like impeachment?
Ossoff's EXACT point is that Trump has no God or faith. He is consumed entirely by himself. Trump is a malignant narcissist, and as he's demonstrated time and again, believes he is omniscient and omnipotent.
Trump's supposed "religion" does not deserve the benefit of your approbation.
"Push-back??"
At what point do they order the MPs to escort the man to Walter Reed to be "evaluated?"
I read it more than once and this is what I took away from what you said:
• Donald Trump is entitled to characterize his religiosity.
• No one is allowed to deny or criticize it.
Not sure what you had in mind, but THAT is what was communicated, at least to me. Just thought you should know.
You're criticizing Ossoff for criticizing.
So, why don't you reiterate what your point was, because beyond that, I've got nothin'.
His hypocrisy makes him a legitimate target for criticism.
Trump can claim a mantle of Christianity all he wants, but in doing so he opens himself up to accusations of sacrilege, blasphemy, heresy, and/or apostasy.
Such claim by a public figure is not immune to examination.
Ossoff is not saying those who elected Trump are faithless. He's accusing Trump of BEING faithless, an absolute fraud and trafficker in religious trappings.
That Trump appealed to a certain strain of Satan-fearing Christians is ironic testament to his satanic ability to deceive!
Open their eyes!
To date, a serious drawback to explicitly espousing left-wing policies is that they draw well-funded, professional efforts to ridicule them and scare voters/taxpayers.
We have the most expensive political campaigns on the planet!
There's an opening this year with healthcare. Let's do the work!
Two months after the Supreme Court ruled that most of Trump's tariffs were unconstitutional, the federal government has launched an online portal for business owners to request refunds. It is set to go live this morning. U.S. Customs has estimated it owes $166 billion in tariff refunds. The agency is launching only the first phase of payouts, so not all goods imported under the illegal tariffs will qualify immediately. Federal guidance says that after refund requests are approved, it could take 60 to 90 days for importers to get their money. 🎧 NPR's Scott Horsley says the refund process could be a scramble, as 330,000 businesses were wrongly forced to pay these tariffs. The process is supposed to be pretty straightforward and similar to what happens if someone accidentally overpays a tariff. But Customs has never tried to pay this many refunds all at once, Horsley says.
AND, in addition to income tax refunds, they now have to pay out tariff refunds. They REALLY do not have the money! Trump blew it!

So, the only question is, when will it zero out if it does, and for how long? Because there are any number of ways to carry it over, INCLUDING LOANING IT MONEY! For decades the Trust Fund has been loaning the Treasury money at favorable rates.
Why not just return the favor?

<cont>→ It is SUPPOSED to draw down when a smaller Peak-Earnings-Generation ("PEG") is supporting a larger retiring generation. Right now, that's Gen-X and Boomers.
But, by the time Boomers are gone, Gen-X is retiring and the larger Millennials generation is PEG, it will rebuild! →
Well, there's an even bigger lie about Social Security and the Trust Fund.
It is NOT where all Social Security benefits come from!
The vast majority of benefits are paid from CURRENT payroll tax collections.
The Trust Fund is just a "shock absorber" between generations of different sizes. →
And, just in case, here's an archived version:

The Treasury is empty. Trump blew (and/or stole) all the money. They have to wait to raise more by selling more Treasury Bills, Bonds, and Notes.
Meanwhile, the more they sell, the higher interest rates go, and the lower the value of the dollar (a.k.a. inflation).
You can gut his power. Vote his party out! Make sure you're registered! Every US citizen who is OR WILL BE over the age of 18 on Election Day is entitled to register to vote. Don't take no for an answer!
Hand holding a pen, filling out a ballot. Your vote can be a nail in the coffin of one-party, corrupt, autocratic rule!
Got nails? I have a hammer.
Here's the thing, though. Pope Leo isn't the one being antagonistic. His message, and Church, is unchanged. Trump is the one picking a fight. Leo just isn't having it! Meanwhile, the Press is the one positing that any message of Peace, Community, and Integrity is an attack on Trump.

Happy 89th!! Congrats and many more!
Gee, I dunno, but doesn't The Atlantic have a legitimate counterclaim for Patel impuning their integrity and truthfulness? Like, for $10 billion?
Well... we've also got toadies, thieves, myrmidons, wild-eyed zealots, and shuffling incompetents.
Prediction: "It was an isolated incident, just a domestic situation. The perpetrator is dead, so it's over. Nothing to worry about, folks. Very sad, but our community is strong. Which is why I support President Trump, who is making it stronger."
"...inflame sectarian issues."
Ya THINK!?
My question: How will American Evangelicals react?
Will it be, "Oh, goody! This will hasten the End Times!," or will it be, "Maybe we shouldn't be supporting the Israeli military after all?"
I suspect between the war on migrant agriculture workers and the zooming price of diesel, we're going to be stuck with $5/lb tomato prices for some time to come.
He's a greedy money-grubbing, (kiddie-)ass-grabbing parasite. That's his only interest in the office, the world, or his life. The rest is all an act (very poorly delivered) to try to hide it.
The army is not the regime, at least not yet. Hogsbreath doesn't quite have a grip on the hearts and minds of our troops. They might still be susceptible to reason, sanity, empathy, and civil life.
The North needs (and appreciates) smart people. You'd be welcome here!
I don't know how far we'd get with pitchforks and torches. Unless the army turns against him, they'd mow us down.
