I've now seen several posts from Democratic US Senators and House Reps calling for Congress to return to DC, and my only reaction to seeing these is: Do it. Just get on a plane and go back to DC. The House is in Recess, not adjourned. There was a pro forma session today. Go. Lead by example.

Respectfully, did you read the book? I did. I will admit that I am a fan of Lindy and her writing specifically and a fan of believing women in general. I’m a very generic, cis-hetero, white woman from the Midwest. So maybe her choices aren’t for me, but maybe they’re for her? Honest & vulnerable.

I think there is something to explore that many nations at the WBC have come showing what they love about their country (dancing, celebration, tradition) to represent the people while the American team has shown up representing and only celebrating the military
