I like "Where Teams Think." It emphasizes that, if the goal of Teamlanes is to BE the place where teams think, then it needs to provide the conditions in which good thinking is made possible. And that's what I've been building: a clean, reliable, fast, and extendable collaboration primitives system.
I've replied to all our concerned beta testers and I will also post a reassurance here publicly: Teamlanes will never file for an IPO, nor will Teamlanes ever be sold. This collaboration tool, like all my other projects, is a personal extension of myself, expressed as fine computer instructions. -JL

The teams that enjoyed real-time sync had far less stickiness with the product than teams who expressed overwhelm with existing real-time systems. It might make sense to call a non real-time collab system "slower" but overall velocity didn't seem impacted. It's not "slower", it's "more intentional."
We set out to focus on real-time messaging, but all the quantitative and qualitative data shows that a different model is more appropriate for most settings. Where we maximized measures for Utility, Delight, and Sense of Belonging, we ended up on a forum-style system with *optional* real-time sync.

It all sucks. But searchability and linking *has* to be the foundation
