PROTESTS & MARCHES ARE THE FIRST STEP NONCOMPLIANCE, WALKOUTS & BOYCOTTS ARE THE NEXT STEP NAS SA 錯: To enact real change, we need to move from protests and large days of action to organizing via noncompliance and civil disobedience, which make it impossible for our society to work as designed. The Pillars of Support that Uphold Governments
A REGIME'S PILLARS OF SUPPORT 01 BUSINESS LABOR FAITH EDUCATION 9 CIVIL SERVICE 05 MILITARY/ POLICE Power is not a solid block. It's like a roof held up by multiple columns/pillars. If the pillars (people & institutions that keep the system running), stop supporting the roof, then it collapses. As long as we continue following the same rules and don't defect, we won't see any real change. Noncooperation is the act of refusing to comply with requests, demands, or orders. Enough noncooperation will cause a pillar to be unreliable. What Noncooperation & Defiance Looks Like
WHAT NONCOOPERATION & DEFIANCE LOOKS LIKE Step 1: Protest & Persuasion First, we raise public awareness of the issue via: • Marches, rallies, vigils • Lobbying, online petitions, symbolism • Shared identity, amplifying narratives Step 2: Building Alternatives Then, we build alternatives to directly challenge the current system and demonstrate alternatives: • Alternative social media channels • Mutual aid, food/health assistance, community gardens, homeschooling, Co-Ops Step 3: Noncooperation Last, we undermine the unjust system by refusing to cooperate or making it harder for the system to work: • Workers strikes, walkouts, boycotts, • Jury nullification • Refusing partnerships with co-conspirators
WHAT NONCOOPERATION LOOKS LIKE IN PILLARS OF SUPPORT PT.1 Civil Service The government cannot collect taxes, issue permits, or manage public health without the labor of civil servants. Noncooperation Example: In 2026, we've seen federal workers and public health officials file lawsuits and utilize whistleblower protections to stall the politically motivated termination of grants, as seen in the recent AFSCME legal victories. Business & Labor Economic power is the most immediate leverage point. When businesses and workers refuse to cooperate in the cog, the billionaires at top lose the resources they need to rule. Noncooperation Example: The Target and Home Depot boycott campaigns that were run to combat the rollback of DEl and participation in ICE raids demonstrate how economic noncooperation forces corporations to choose between a political agenda and their own customer base. What Noncooperation Looks Like in the Pillars of Support
Protests and marches are the first step. Noncompliance, walkouts and boycotts are the next step. To enact real change, we need to transform the energy we produce at mass protests to organizing noncompliance and civil disobedience. Here’s how you can get started.
I hate how accurate this tweet is.
Democrats denouncing this gratuitous, distractive war with Iran are not "siding with Iran;" they are siding with sanity and the Constitution.
3 American soldiers have now been killed because the president wants you to stop thinking about all the children he raped.
Americans rise up against your government.
They went to war with Iran (which nobody in America was asking for) so they could conjure an excuse to allow ICE to keep murdering Americans and teargassing schools here at home with impunity (which nobody in America was asking for).
A photo of an ice cream machine with a sign reading, "Anything is possible with ice cream." Beneath that is a hand lettered sign reading, "No ice cream".
2026 basically
George W. Bush would like to help save this country from a president even stupider than he, but is simply too busy creating amateurish paintings on his fake ranch in Texas.
This right here makes me want to rip my hair out. They are fucking morons or just flat out villains of the worst caliber. Perhaps both…🤬🤬
Each day gets harder. But I’m grasping onto any bit of hope out there. May the year of the fire horse live up to its mythology. 🤞
He is us, and we are him.
Bad Bunny is all of us tonight.
We are woven into the history of this nation, and no amount of hate will erase us.
Love will conquer hate tonight and always.
Keep the faith, America!
#BadBunny
#SuperBowl
God will not be mocked. Seattle wins and Trump's friend's team loses (teehee!) The Bad Bunny halftime show was iconic, and the only English spoken was by Lady Gaga. As Ice Cube used to say in the before times, today was a good day.
Um, how about no. 🙄 Go quietly into the night sir. Your time has passed.
Photos of Alex Pretti with Sara’s caption: On August 16th at approximately 10:00 pm I received a call from the ICU at the VA saying my Dad had sepsis and needed to be intubated to stay alive so Josh and I headed in. We were greeted by the kindest, most calming and warm soul who helped us understand what was happening and showed deep care for us and my Dad. He continued to show utmost patience and kindness over the next few days as my Dad remained in the ICU and we were there continually. It was Alex Pretti, the man shot today by ICE. If you see this video and don't think it's murder, I don't understand your thinking and ask you to question your heart. He was out there trying to help and protect and from the little we knew of him, it doesn't surprise me he was not afraid to be on the front lines of this horrible scene in our Minneapolis. Weeping for his family and all those at the VA who no longer get to work with him or receive his care.
My friend Sara posted this about the superb care her father received from with Alex Pretti
Absolutely heartbreaking
I have been thinking all day about the number of times unarmed Black people were killed by police on the pretext that their cell phone looked like a gun. And people would say “oh but you just don‘t know what the truth is.” Well here it is.
"look to the helpers"
THEY'RE MURDERING THE HELPERS
This is courage. Looking a masked, government fascist dead in the eye, face to face, knowing full well that your life is on the line.
If elected officials had 1/10th of Alex Pretti's resolve, we would have far fewer troubles.
Everyday White men are being shown in real time that this regime’s talk about protecting their lives and livelihoods from the rest of us is just another lie. Everyday White men are being shown in real time that they actually need protection from this regime like the rest of us.
Would be nice if you all would actually do something. No, you’re not the majority, but somehow when you were, you allowed the Repugnuts to stall every little thing. Maybe try that? 🤷🏼♀️
So much same
Police have arrived. Arrests seem imminent. The crowd chants “let them pray” and “Minnesota nice means prosecute ICE”
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
Photo of parked police cars on Thacker Ave in Kissimmee.
Drove near Thacker in Kissimmee tonight. Three Kissimmee city cops, with lights flashing, were parked across the street from the Park Royal Orlando hotel. Allegedly some of 🧊 are staying there so I guess they needed protecting. 🙄
every single successful general strike in US history has had union backing through the local AFL-CIO
this is the first time it’s been called for since the 1940s
Donald Trump is a twisted malignant sociopath rapidly slipping into dementia. He isn’t really calling the shots. It’s the cabal of unrestrained psychopaths around him who are. And that’s incredibly dangerous.
Ms. whitey mcwhitey here and I fucking hate us. 💯
