On a scale of 1-10, how much does the lack of railings in the Death Star bother you?
Just kidding! Can you explain how you are different from OSHA?
Don’t forget increased stress and lack of access to safe places to exercise, relax, and play outside. And then there’s non-walkable cities, lack of time off from work, depressed wages, lack of preventative care… oh, and for-profit health care! AKA, living in the U.S.
Your pop punk piece convinced me to go see Superman, though. Thanks for it!
So, you the Mighty Crabjoys is probably a nod to My Chemical Romance’s 2010 album, “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” and it’s subsequent Dark Horse comic book series — is Gunn a fan perhaps?
No, the vast majority of states do not require this and do just fine. It’s just an extra step that throws out more ballots.
NIOSH - National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, housed in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, with locations in OH, WV, PA, WA, CO, DC, GA, and AK with research and training programs or grant funding in every state.
“NIOSH is at risk for imminent destruction,” the letter to Congress states. “The administration’s activities over the past several months have almost completely impeded NIOSH’s ability to carry out its mission.”
Did you know NIOSH works to make the fishing industry safer?

If you find yourselves in Palmer, AK check out Bigfoot Art Gallery for some art by me and @cgfx.bsky.social!
Eagles are the National bird not because they are majestic, but because they are trash birds that profit from our food waste and conspicuous consumption. They’re also hateful and eat small dogs. Here’s three bald eagles, two adults and one juvenile perched on a dumpster in Alaska with snow in the background. This is a common sight in Alaska and a bit of inside humor for locals when tourists get all patriotic about seeing eagles.
